Ibogaine Literature

Ibogaine is a drug being tested as a treatment for drug addictions of most types. Patients who have tried it claim that it not only prevents withdrawal but eliminates craving for a period as well. The effects of ibogaine include the re-experiencing of past memories, a property which has interested some psychotherapists, but also the Drug Enforcement Agency (USA) which has placed the drug on Schedule I. Nevertheless, the Food and Drug Administration (USA) has approved human trials which have stalled due to the unavailability of funding.

This document was created to promote the study of ibogaine because it has the potential to alleviate so much suffering.
